3 Places In The World That I Want To Visit

Traveling has been on my mind for months. Being able to change locations and live somewhere else around the world is life changing. People that travel often have a lot to say about it, traveling is one of the best feelings. Now that there  is social media people are able to see travelers from around the world show their experiences to millions of people. Most people spend half of their life traveling and working at the same time, being able to do this in this day of age is amazing and I feel that more people should start traveling more frequently. A few months ago I started considering traveling soon. I have been in California my whole life and the only place that I have been out of state is Las Vegas, but I live in Southern California so going to Las Vegas and back isn’t quite the adventure that I’m looking for.

Places That I Want To Visit

Tokyo, Japan

Japan has been on my list for a while, actually ever since I was a kid I had always wanted to visit Japan. The culture is amazing to me and I’d love to be a tourist one day in Tokyo, I had many friends that have been there and they always tell me that it’s one of the greatest experiences they had.

Paris, France

Paris is every travelers desination, I would love to visit soon and even live there for a few months. I learned the French language so I would be able to communicate with people there.

London, United Kingdom

Growing up, I watched a lot of tv shows based in London which made me fall in love with the UK. Traveling around the UK has always been a place that I knew for sure that I would love to visit in the near future.

Visiting other countries around the world is something that I really have a desire to do. Many of my friends and family have traveled, I don’t think that it would be long until I will be able to start traveling and really getting a chance to see and experience the world and learn new things!
Have you ever wanted to travel is traveling?

  1. I lived in Las Vegas from 91 to 09. The glamour wore off after the first year, so I know what you mean. I’ve never been to Paris or London, but would love to visit both. I was in Tokyo when I was a kid. I’m sure it’s much different today. I hope you make it to all 3 someday.

  2. Nice list.

Would love to visit Japan as well. Rome is in my list. Rift Valley in easter africa for nature. Shangai to see what’s up with China. Machu Picchu for the adventure. And many others πŸ™‚

  3. Great list! I would also love to visit those places! Traveling around the world gives you such a unique perspective on life! I am traveling to Iceland in a few months. I can’t wait! I would also love to go to Italy, Switzerland, Thailand, and Fiji! I hope you get to see all of those places soon! Make sure to let us know how it goes when you do!

  4. These cities are world famous and certainly have a lot of pull (I myself have visited one of them a few times). However, I feel you might find it more rewarding to visit different destinations. Separate yourself from the cliche mass tourist crowd and the hectic business bunch. Here are my three recommendations:

1.) Hamburg (vibrant Hanseatic port city with lots of distinct art, nightlife, architecture, canals, culture, cuisine etc.)
2.) Bordeaux (the Pearl of Aquitaine- known for its beautiful historical architecture, art, wine, relaxed atmosphere, culture)
3.) Benesse island art complex Naoshima Japan (wonderful scenic architecture by Tadao Ando)

  5. What a lovely post you’ve made here with your dreams and wishes for traveling. I’ve also began my life on this planet which started off in Los Angeles, Calif.. I’ve lived in the Southern states most of my younger years, i.e. Fla, Mississippi, New Orleans.. Have traveled to South America in the seventies, Venezuela with my grandfather. But, now I’ve lived in Canada for over 30 years. So, I’d say hold on to your visions and I know it will be an exciting adventure for your life.. I know mine has been everything I’ve ever expected or could even dream of… Take care, Laura

  6. Great post and blog Cedric! Many thanks for your virtual visit to my part of the WordPress world, and thanks for the follow too.
Your choice of places to visit, not mine. Your obviously a city man, me, open spaces, as far from the maddening crowd as possible. However Japan would be on my list of countries I have not been to, along all those west of the UK. East, North, and slightly South, with respect to those points of the compass I have been very lucky. If I had to choose 2 I’d like to visit again, they would be Norway, for its fiords, forest and mountainous hills, and any country/island that backs on to, or is in the Mediterranean. I was going to say Malta, but it was way back in the early 1960’s when I was last there, now it is a big holiday destination, so I am led to believe; Anyway I wish you all the best, and when, or if you achieve any of your gaols, then I hope you have the best time of your life. Take care,

  7. I have been blessed to have travelled a lot more than most but not as extensively as I would like. My travel bucket list is a long one 😊 My bestie and I are planning a trip to Zanzibar for next year. Also top of my travel list are Thailand, Mynamar and Greece. But amazing as international travel is, we must not forget the importance of seeing our own countries and experiencing all they have to offer.

  8. Great list – i’ve been to London and Tokyo, and would absolutely loveee to go to Paris. Tokyo was really amazing, the food is so good and affordable, but i left my heart in London. Can’t wait to go back someday!

  9. I highly, highly, highly recommend Iceland for sure-it’s easily my favorite destination that I’ve ever traveled to. However, I would recommend Bosnia. I know the quantity of tourists who visit there are very small, but it has some absolutely gorgeous scenery, and the people there are super warm.

  10. I would love to go to Tokyo, London is amazing (I’m British but don’t live in London, but I enjoy being a tourist in London). My memories of Paris are sketchy at best as I was a child when I went, the only thing I truly remember is the weather (it rained!)

  11. I have SO many places I want to travel to! (and watching “Rick Steve’s Europe” does not help my traveling bug) There’s Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, Japan, China, Russia, and Canada just to name a few. J’aime parler le francais bien que j’apprenne juste! (sadly, my keyboard cannot access the accents that I need to make a proper sentence in French.. excusez-moi)

  12. Tokyo is a wonderful city! I’m fortunate enough to live about an hour and a half away by train. There’s so much to do and so many beautiful things to see. I hope you make it out here someday!
